Zoe Hodgson, Registered Midwife
I am so pleased and excited to be at Bloom and be a part of your care!
After completing my PhD in Scotland, I came to Vancouver in 2005 with my husband of only two weeks! I worked at BC Women’s Hospital as Director of Women’s Health Research for 6 years, before following my calling and completing midwifery training at UBC. Now, I combine my passion for research with my love for baby-catching!
I love spending time outdoors with my partner, Jules, and my children, Nola and Oban. I also love trail running and yoga, practicing yoga as often as possible in order to stretch out from all those funny positions I find myself in at births. I'm a life-long plant eater and love spending time in the kitchen.
I previously worked at the South Community Birth Program where I caught close to 300 babies! Over the past year, I have been working at the Midwifery Group on Main Street and have really enjoyed my return to community midwifery.
I am very happy to have found my forever home at Bloom. I am super excited to work with my friends at Bloom and cannot wait to meet you!
